Newbuilding
Akdeniz Shipyard undertakes full-scale newbuild construction, from first steel cut to sea trials and delivery. Every vessel is built on infrastructure sized for the region’s largest projects — and finished to the standards our clients plan their fleets around.
What we deliver
- 150 × 27 m slipway, served by a dual 80 t gantry crane, sized for large-hull launches
- 13,800 m² of block construction area, with dedicated lifting capacity up to 2 × 30 t for block building and assembly
- Automated 12 × 12 m panel welding line with an integrated flip-over station for consistent hull panel fabrication
- CNC dry plasma cutting (7,500 × 28,000 mm) and a 14,000 mm edge milling machine for precision steel preparation
- 600 t shipbuilding press and 400 t frame bender for hull plate and frame forming
- Yard-wide lifting capacity of up to 820 t for large block and module handling
From steel cutting to block assembly and launch, every stage runs through infrastructure built for scale — so timelines hold and quality doesn’t depend on which berth a project is built on.
